Before you start: pre-press the garment for 3–5 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.
| Fabric | Temperature | Pressure | Peel | Second press |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 100% cotton | 310°F (290–320°F) | Medium | Hot | 3–5 seconds |
| Polyester & poly blends | 265°F (250–280°F) | Medium | Hot | 1–3 seconds |
How long to press — by transfer size:
| Transfer size | Time |
|---|---|
| Small — under 5″ (left chest, sleeve) | 3–5 seconds |
| Medium — 5″ to 10″ | 6–8 seconds |
| Large — over 10″ (full front or back) | 8–10 seconds |
Polyester is heat-sensitive: always press it under a cover sheet (Teflon or parchment) so the transfer does not scorch.
Peel hot: lift the film right away, in one smooth motion. Then press again for the "second press" time above to lock it in.
Washing: wait 24 hours, wash inside-out in cold water, tumble dry low.
